Katy

"Rosie is a happy camper with her ipod and her
remote! Thanks.: Kay (mom)

Dillon from Alaska
"I just wanted to let you know
that the ipod remote was the best gift that my son got for
christmas. He absolutely loves it. It is one of
the only gifts that gives him independence. I just wanted
to tell you how much he loves it. Thanks." Wendy H.

iPods
remain
one
of
the
hottest
technology
that has hit in long time.
Unfortunately, no one makes an accessible
one. So I've taken the job to
task. This page is my
contribution. The large green button is
1-3/4" and the smaller buttons are
1-1/4". They are raised and slightly
convex. The entire face of my Remote is
angled at about 20 degrees, thus making for a
nice orientation to the user. (the front
edge is 2" above the bottom)

There
have
been many iPods released by Apple. Up until the last
several generations, my original BBiR operated all of them
quite nicely. But with newer models, I had to search
for, and adapt, newer remotes. It's been a challenge!

Stefan from

"My son, Stefan, just
got this. He learned it in a day and LOVES
it! Thank you for creating this product!" Marsha
D. (mom)

Helen from NYC
"RJ, Helen is 88
y/o from NYC and just had a big stroke. She can work those
buttons tho!" Barry

And
here is the one that started it all! My original version
also has a little receiver
that
plugs
into
the
bottom
of
your iPod. This one *does* cover the
earphone jack of newer Nano's and
Touch's. Also, it just plain doesn't
work with them (but it does with the newest
Classic). This one also has a
'pass-through' port on the bottom so, as you
can see below, you can plug it into a
speaker/dock.
This one is Radio Frequency
(RF) so it does *not* need to line up with the BBiR.

Here
is my original
BBiR. Note the "receiver" at the bottom of an older
Nano,
plugged into my Speaker/Stand (which is only
really appropriate for my original BBiR.
I've
even
put
switch
inputs
on
the
rear
for
performing
any
of
the
button
functions!
(see note below about scanning)
I now offer my Scan-5, a scanning unit that can
operate your iPod, as well as interchangeable modules for TV,
DVD, and toys & other devices).
AND...I also now
offer my Select-5, which can operate your
iPod, as well as interchangeable modules for TV, DVD, and toys & other devices
If you want to
control only your iPod with my device, then the BBiR
is enough. But, if you want to control *other*
things also (one at a time), Scan-5 or Select-5 is
what you want.
